No. A reference image, a rough description, or a budget range is enough to start. Most clients come to us with an idea rather than a finished design, the specification process is how we get from that idea to a confirmed brief. You do not need to know every detail before reaching out.
Yes, a reference image is one of the most useful starting points. It tells us the style direction, proportions, and setting type you have in mind. We use it as a reference to build the specification, not necessarily to reproduce the piece exactly. Send the image via WhatsApp or include a link in the inquiry form and we will advise on what we can achieve.
Yes. Many clients now start this way. An AI image often shows details that cannot be cast, such as stones with nothing holding them, so our design team first rebuilds it as a 3D CAD rendering for a $40 design fee, credited in full against the order if you go ahead. All of the above. Most pieces can be adjusted in gold karat (14K or 18K), gold color (white, yellow, or rose, including mixed metal), ring or chain size, stone type (lab grown or natural diamond, or colored gemstones), total carat weight, and setting style. For pieces based on a reference image, the structural elements like halo style, prong count, or band profile can also be modified. The exact customization range for any given piece is confirmed during the specification step.
There is no fixed minimum. The cost of a custom piece depends on the gold weight, stone type and grade, and the complexity of the setting. A simple solid gold band starts at a lower price point than a diamond pavé ring. For a piece we can quote from one of our designs or a real reference, a 30% deposit starts the project and covers the design work and your production slot. You then see a 3D rendering of your own piece, and until you approve it in writing the order can be cancelled for a full refund with no fee. The remaining 70% is paid after the finished piece has been photographed and sent to you, before it ships. Yes. Lab grown diamonds are available across all custom categories: rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. They are chemically and optically identical to natural diamonds; the difference is origin, not quality. For pieces with multiple stones, lab grown diamonds often allow a larger or higher-grade stone within the same budget. The choice between natural and lab grown is confirmed during specification.
Yes. For diamonds 0.30 ct and above, IGI certification is standard, and the certificate details (carat, color, clarity, cut, measurements) are shared before the stone is set. For smaller melee and pavé diamonds, stones are sourced and matched to a consistent quality grade across the piece rather than individually certified, this is industry standard for accent stones. We share the specification of the stones used during the design confirmation step.
Simple designs are usually completed within 5 days, most orders take around 7 to 10 days in production, and complex pieces with pavé settings or multiple stones may require up to 15 days. Shipping by FedEx, DHL, or UPS usually adds 2 to 5 days depending on destination and customs clearance. Those are production and transit days counted from approved CAD. The specification and CAD stage in front of them moves at the speed the design details are confirmed. A specific timeline is confirmed before production begins. Yes. We ship worldwide via FedEx, DHL, or UPS, fully insured. Delivery usually takes 2 to 5 days from dispatch, depending on destination and customs clearance. Customs duties and import taxes are the recipient's responsibility and vary by country, we can advise on typical rates for major destinations during the inquiry.

Many clients now come to us with a description, a sketch or an image made with ChatGPT or another AI tool, rather than a piece we can quote from directly. A request like that has to be designed before it can be made, so it starts with a $40 CAD design fee.
Our design team models your idea as a 3D rendering and corrects what an AI image shows but cannot be built, such as stones with nothing holding them or prongs too thin to cast. You receive the rendering as images, and the production file is released on request once you place the order.
If you already have one of our designs or a photo of a real piece to work from, none of this applies: the CAD is part of the order and is covered by the deposit. The full sequence for both is in how the deposit and design fee work.
