Guidance

Choosing an Engagement Ring

Where the Budget Goes

Carat weight moves price faster than any other factor, and it jumps at the round numbers. A stone just under 1.00 ct costs noticeably less than one just over, at a size difference most people cannot see on the hand. Cut quality is where brilliance comes from, so it is the last place to economize. Clarity beyond eye clean, and color beyond the point where warmth shows against your chosen metal, add cost without adding much you will notice.

Natural or Lab Grown

Both are real diamonds with the same hardness and the same optical properties. The difference is origin and price. A lab grown center stone puts the same budget into a larger or better cut stone, while a natural stone carries provenance that matters to some buyers. We produce both, and the setting work is identical either way. Stones from 0.30 ct upward can be supplied with IGI certification. Smaller melee and pave stones are not individually certified.

Setting Style and Daily Wear

A high prong setting lifts the stone and lets in more light, but it catches on fabric and needs checking over time. Bezel and channel settings sit lower and hold up better for hands that work. Band width changes how a ring feels more than how it looks, and a narrower band is easier to resize later. Hidden halos and pave detailing read strongest in profile rather than from above.

Ring Size and Resizing

If the ring is a surprise, borrow one she already wears on that finger and send us a photo of it against a ruler. Most solitaire and three stone designs can be resized after delivery. Full eternity bands and channel set styles are limited by their construction, so tell us early if resizing is likely and we will keep the setting flexible.

Production and Delivery

Custom work begins with CAD renders for your approval before any metal is cut. Simple designs are usually completed within 5 days. Most orders take around 7 to 10 days in production, and complex settings can require up to 15 days. Finished rings ship by FedEx, DHL, or UPS, with delivery usually taking 2 to 5 days depending on destination and customs clearance.

Made to Order, Not from Stock

Every ring is produced at our manufacturing facility after you approve the design. Nothing is pulled from inventory, so the metal, the center stone, and the setting are built to the specification you sign off on. That is also why the same design can be quoted in 14k or 18k, in white, yellow, or rose gold, without a change in lead time.
