An oval solitaire where the side stones are oval too, so the light path continues down the band instead of stopping at the center.
Solid 18K yellow gold engagement ring with a 3.08 ct oval lab grown diamond center and 12 graduated oval side stones, total 5.80 ct.
Available in 14K or 18K gold across yellow, white, and rose tones. Ring size, center carat weight, and side stone configuration can be specified before production. Natural diamond available on request.
This is an oval lab grown diamond engagement ring built on one unusual decision: the side stones are oval-cut too, not the round melee that almost every other oval solitaire defaults to. A 3.08 ct elongated oval lab diamond sits at the center, held by four slim yellow-gold prongs, and on each shoulder six smaller oval lab diamonds run in a graduated line down the band, prong-set side by side so the brilliance carries continuously from the center stone outward instead of dropping off into smaller round sparkle.
It suits a wearer who has been shown the standard oval-with-round-pavé combination and wants the side stones to share the same visual language as the center, rather than play a supporting role at a different cut. Within our engagement rings collection, this is the all-oval design built so the shoulder stones extend the center stone’s light return rather than frame it.
The defining structural choice is the all-oval light path. Most oval solitaires use round melee on the shoulders because round stones are easier to source and seat in a uniform pavé line. Using oval side stones means each one is cut, oriented (length-wise along the band, all facing the same direction), and set individually so the line reads as a continuous oval sequence from the center stone outward. The visual effect is that the eye does not stop at the center stone, it travels along the band, which makes the 3.08 ct center read larger than its carat weight on the finger.
The center stone is held by four narrow yellow-gold prongs, claw-style, leaving the oval’s full length exposed on the long axis. Band width is 4.5 mm at the shoulders, tapering slightly toward a 1.8 mm-thick inner profile that sits flat against the finger. The inside of the band is engraved with the Redora signature in a sans-serif typeface, visible only when the ring is off the hand. Total ring weight is approximately 8.77 g, with the side stones contributing real diamond weight rather than visual filler.
The ring is cast in solid 18K gold throughout, Au750, with no hollow core and no plating. The center stone and all 12 side stones are lab grown diamonds, VS clarity with E color grade, IGI certified at the diamond level with a grading report shipped with the piece. The yellow tone shown is the standard 18K yellow alloy, with white and rose available as alternative configurations. The piece is nickel-tested for sensitive skin.
This oval lab grown diamond engagement ring is built to order. The configuration shown is a starting point, not a fixed SKU. The following options can be specified before production starts.
