Anniversary & Milestone Gifting
Solid 14K or 18K gold. Natural or lab grown diamonds and gemstones. One piece minimum order. Free engraving on every piece, font and wording both customizable. Most anniversary commissions land between $500 and $5,000. Production runs 7 to 10 days after design details are confirmed, with FedEx, DHL or UPS delivery in 2 to 5 days. Redora Jewels is the manufacturing facility itself, so the person quoting your piece is the person whose bench it gets built on.
Two lists are in circulation and they disagree, which is why searching this gets confusing. The traditional list puts diamond at the 60th. Most modern American lists move diamond up to the 10th and again at the 30th. Both are in common use. Neither is wrong.
Here is the traditional list, and what we can actually build for each one.
| Year | Traditional material | What we make for it |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | Tin or aluminium | Neither is a jewelry metal. The modern list says diamond, so a first diamond piece in 14K or 18K gold |
| 15 | Crystal | We do not cut crystal. A gemstone piece, or diamond, in solid gold |
| 20 | China | The modern list says platinum, which we do work in |
| 25 | Silver | We do not make silver. See below |
| 30 | Pearl | Cultured pearls in solid gold, from strands on gold clasps to earrings on gold posts: see our cultured pearl jewelry. The modern list says diamond, which we also make |
| 40 | Ruby | Ruby, natural or lab grown, set in solid gold |
| 45 | Sapphire | Sapphire, natural or lab grown, set in solid gold |
| 50 | Gold | 18K or 22K, the one year where the material is exactly what we do |
| 60 | Diamond | Diamond, natural or lab grown diamonds |
Silver is the traditional 25th and we do not make silver. We make solid gold and platinum only, never sterling, never gold plated, never vermeil. So if you want a literal silver piece for a 25th, we are the wrong supplier and you should go to a silversmith.
What most clients do instead is white gold or platinum, which reads as the same cool metal and will not tarnish the way sterling does. That is a real substitution, not a sales line. Sterling silver oxidizes and needs polishing; 18K white gold and platinum do not. If the piece is meant to be worn daily for the next 25 years, that difference matters more than the name of the metal.
The $500 to $5,000 range covers most anniversary commissions. Three things move a quote inside it.
Gram weight of the gold. This is usually the largest single line. A slim 2mm band and a wide cuff in the same alloy can differ by a factor of five in metal alone.
Stone size and count. One larger center stone and forty small accent stones can cost the same in stones and differ completely in labor.
Setting labor. Pavé, which means many small stones held by tiny raised beads of metal, takes far longer at the bench than a bezel, where a rim of metal wraps the stone's full edge. Plainly: the more individual stones a setter has to place by hand, the more the labor line grows.
A custom initial ring in 18K yellow gold, the letter R drawn entirely in bezel set stones.
| Finished weight | 4.3 g. The CAD model said 4.8 g |
| Stones | 46 lab grown round diamonds, 0.95 ct total, D colour, VVS clarity |
| Stone sizes | One at 3.5 mm. The other 45 run from 1.4 mm to 2.0 mm |
| Setting | Bezel throughout |
| Size | EU 64 |
| Gold rate used | $139.54 per gram of finished 18K, the rate this ring was quoted at in March 2026. The rate covers the gold, the metal lost in casting and the alloying fee |
| Quoted price at that rate | $1,048 |
The gold line is $600 of that, which is 57% of the price. Most of it is the gold itself, which moves with the market every day. The rest is the metal lost in casting and polishing, and the fee for alloying fine gold into 18K. That is why a factory 18K rate sits above the spot value of 18K quoted online: spot price times grams is not what the gold in a finished ring costs.
The remaining $448 covers 46 lab grown stones and the bench time to bezel set every one of them by hand. That side of the quote is stable.
So do not read $1,048 as a price tag. Read it as the shape of a quote, and rebuild it on the day you ask:
finished grams × today's 18K rate + $448
For this ring that is 4.3 g times whatever 18K costs today, plus $448. Every quote we issue is built the same way, which is why we will always tell you the gram weight and the gold rate a number was based on. A quote that hides both is a quote you cannot check.
Two things this piece shows that are worth carrying into any quote you compare:
The CAD said 4.8 g and the finished ring weighs 4.3 g. That gap is real material, lost in casting and polishing, and it runs about 10% on most pieces. Every factory has to recover it somewhere. We recover it once, inside the per gram rate, and apply that rate to the finished weight. A quote that applies a rate like ours to the CAD weight charges you for the same lost metal twice.
We can tell you those stones are D, VVS. We cannot hand you a certificate for them. A 1.4 mm stone cannot be certified, and no lab issues paper for melee at that size. Grades we will state. Certificates we will not invent.
An anniversary has a fixed date, which makes this the one thing worth planning first. The clock only starts when design details are confirmed, not when you first write in.
| Piece | Confirm the design by |
|---|---|
| Simple, no stones or few stones | 14 days before the date |
| Typical, most commissions | 20 days before the date |
| Complex, heavy stone setting or an unusual gemstone | 25 days before the date |
That allows for the CAD round, production at 5 to 15 days depending on complexity, and 2 to 5 days of shipping. Add a few more days if the destination has slow customs clearance.
If you are inside that window, write in anyway and say the date in the first message. Some pieces can be pulled forward. We will tell you plainly if yours cannot, rather than take the deposit and miss it.
Every piece can be engraved at no charge, and both the wording and the typeface are yours to pick. Dates, initials, a line in another language, handwriting traced from a note.
As a rule of thumb, about ten characters sit comfortably inside a standard band. Past that the letters have to shrink, and very small engraving wears shallow over years of daily contact. A wider band takes more, a pendant back takes more again. We confirm the exact count against your own piece at the CAD stage, before anything is cut.
This comes up on nearly every anniversary ring, because the piece is usually a surprise.
Borrow a ring they already wear. On the same finger, ideally. Trace the inner circle or press it into soap. This is the most accurate option by a wide margin.
Pick a style that can be resized later. A plain band or a ring with stones only across the top can be sized up or down afterwards. A full eternity band cannot, because the stones run the whole way around and there is no plain metal to cut. Neither can most full pavé shanks. We wrote up which rings cannot be resized and why, and it is worth two minutes before you choose a style.
Or move away from rings. Necklaces, bracelets and earrings have no size problem at all. Chain length is adjustable and a bangle has more tolerance than a ring. This is why a good share of anniversary commissions end up as diamond necklaces rather than gold rings.
Four steps, and the money is staged so you are never paying for materials you have not approved.
The CAD file is yours. We release it to the client, and there is no mould or tooling fee at any point. Full detail on how the custom jewelry process runs is on the process page.
Three cases, stated plainly.
The date is too close. If the anniversary is inside a week and the piece needs stone setting, we will say so rather than promise it.
You want silver, gold plate, or gold filled. We only make solid gold and platinum. If your budget needs a plated piece, a different supplier serves you better.
You want a certificate on the small stones. Melee, meaning the small accent stones, cannot be certified. Certificates are issued for center stones above a meaningful size. Any supplier telling you the whole piece is certified is describing something that does not exist.
Common questions
The 60th on the traditional list. Most modern American lists also put diamond at the 10th and the 30th. All three are in common use, so pick whichever list your family already follows.
Confirm the design 20 days before the date for a typical piece, 14 days for something simple, 25 days for heavy stone setting. That covers the CAD round, production and shipping.
Yes. The minimum order is one piece, for individual clients and trade clients alike.
Yes, on every piece, and you choose the wording and the font. There is no charge for it at any weight or metal. About ten characters sit comfortably inside a standard band, and we confirm the exact count against your piece at the CAD stage.
On a 4.3 g ring in 18K quoted at $1,048, the gold line was $600, or 57%, and that line includes casting loss and the alloying fee as well as the gold itself. That share rises on heavier pieces and falls on stone-heavy ones. Gold moves daily, so every quote is tied to the rate on the day it was issued, and we tell you both the gram weight and the rate used.
Most rings can be resized. Full eternity bands and most full pavé shanks cannot, which is why we flag that before you choose a style rather than after.
No. We work in solid gold and platinum only. For a 25th, white gold or platinum gives the same cool tone without the tarnishing.
It is refunded in full. Materials are not ordered until you approve the rendering, so there is nothing spent to recover.
Send a reference photo or a description and the anniversary date. We will come back with a quote, the gram weight it is based on, and whether the date is realistic.
