The East-West Sash Setting and Its Rippling Profile

The defining feature is the sash setting. Each emerald-cut diamond is cradled by slim gold work that curves between the stones, and it is this curving metalwork, read along the side of the band, that gives the ring its wave-like silhouette. Turning the stones east to west also lowers the profile and lengthens each diamond visually, so the band sits closer to the finger than a north-south setting of the same width would.

The band averages 4.72 mm, a confident width that carries the step cuts without overwhelming the hand. Round accent diamonds run along both edges between the emerald cuts, adding light at the angles where a step cut is quietest. Across the design there are 84 diamonds in total.

The band is solid 18K rose gold throughout, a warm alloy whose pink tone sits especially well against the bright white of step-cut diamonds. It is set entirely with lab grown diamonds, chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds and grown in a controlled lab.
