East-West Orientation, Sash Setting, and Round Side Accents

The defining structural choice is the east-west emerald orientation. Most emerald-cut eternity bands set the stones north-south (short axis along the band), which keeps each diamond visually upright but limits how much step-cut surface you see from above. Rotating every stone 90 degrees so the long axis runs along the band exposes the full length of each emerald’s step facets to the eye in normal viewing, which is why this orientation reads as far more diamond at the same carat weight as a north-south setting.

The sash setting carries that orientation continuously. Each pair of adjacent emerald-cuts shares its prongs at the joining edge, so the band has no visible breaks between stones, only the sash bars holding the line together. The side profile of the band is sculpted into an undulating wave, and along that wave a line of round lab grown diamonds is bead-set into the metal, giving the band side-view brilliance even when the wearer’s hand is at rest. Total diamond count across the piece is 119 stones (emerald-cut around the top, round accents along the sides), with total carat weight ranging from approximately 4 ct in smaller sizes to 9 ct in larger sizes as the band circumference scales. Band width is 3.45 mm at the top.

Solid 18K White Gold and IGI Certified Lab Diamonds

The ring is cast in solid 18K gold throughout, Au750, with no hollow core and no plating. The white tone is achieved through a palladium-based 18K alloy, rhodium-finished for the brightest white that a white-gold band can carry. All 119 stones are lab grown diamonds, with the emerald-cut centers and round accents both graded VS clarity and E color, IGI certified at the diamond level with a grading report shipped with the piece.
