This band is produced entirely in solid Pt950 platinum. Pt950 is the most commonly used platinum alloy for fine jewelry, containing 95% pure platinum with the remaining 5% typically composed of ruthenium or iridium for hardness. Unlike white gold, Pt950 does not require rhodium plating to achieve its natural white color. The color is inherent to the metal and does not fade or shift over time. Platinum is also hypoallergenic, which makes it a practical choice for daily-wear rings.
