This diamond link bracelet is a chain of open circle links in solid 18K white gold. Each circle is twisted like a ribbon and pave set in diagonal bands that follow the twist, and short polished bars hinge one circle to the next. 781 round lab grown diamonds, 7 carats, 14 mm wide, 7 inches long.

A tennis bracelet is a line of stones; this is a bracelet made of links, where the gold structure is the design and the diamonds follow it. Among our gold bracelets, it is the most sculptural piece.
How Are the Twisted Circle Links Built?
Each link is an open gold circle with a twist through it, so its surface turns from the top of the wrist to the side and back as it goes round. The pave is laid in diagonal bands that follow that turn, with polished gold between the bands, which is what gives the bracelet its movement: the light runs round each circle instead of sitting on one flat face. The open centers keep it lighter than its 14 mm width suggests.
The circles are joined by short rectangular bars, each hinged at both ends, so the bracelet bends at every bar and drapes around the wrist in short even steps instead of sitting as a rigid cuff. One of the bars doubles as the box clasp. It is the flattest polished surface on the bracelet, which makes it the place for engraving.
What Metal and Diamonds Are Used?
Every circle, hinge bar, and clasp part is solid 18K white gold with a rhodium finish, and the design is also made in platinum. The 781 stones are round lab grown diamonds, 7 carats together. At that count every stone is micro pave size, so the bracelet is covered by a test certificate on the metal and the diamonds rather than by a report on each stone.
- ◆ The circles are set before they are joined, because the inner faces of a twisted circle cannot be reached with a setting tool once the links are assembled
- ◆ Pave on a twisted surface has to follow the spiral, so the stones in each band are laid out along the twist rather than in straight rows
- ◆ Stones are sorted by size and color in one batch for the whole bracelet, so the first circle and the last circle match
- ◆ Every hinge is flexed after assembly to check that the links move freely without exposing a stone edge, and the clasp is tested for closing security
