One coiled spiral of matte gold at the lobe, one longer spiral that swings below it. A single pair that finishes a whole look.
A pair of solid 18K yellow gold spiral drop earrings in a soft matte finish, with a shell-form dome at the ear and a sculptural 7 cm drop.
Available in 14K or 18K gold, in yellow, white, or rose. Finish, back type (post with omega clip or a clip-on back), and drop length can be specified before production.
These gold spiral drop earrings are a pair of solid 18K yellow gold statement drops in a soft matte finish. Each earring sets a coiled shell-form dome at the lobe, then hangs a longer sculptural spiral that drops about 7 cm and weighs roughly 23 g for the pair. There are no stones. The whole effect comes from the gold and the shape.
It suits a wearer who wants one sculptural piece to carry an outfit, worn against loose hair or a bare neckline where the drop can move. Within our earrings range, this is the bold all-gold statement drop, not a small everyday stud.
The design reads as one shell taken apart into two moving pieces. A round, coiled dome, like the tight spiral of a snail shell, sits flush at the lobe and does the visual work of the top. A jointed link then carries a second, longer form that tapers to a fine point at the top and opens through twisting ridged coils to a fuller base, closer to a conch. Because the two parts are linked rather than fixed, the lower spiral swings and turns as you move, so the earring catches light from changing angles instead of sitting flat.
The matte surface is what keeps a piece this size wearable rather than loud. Instead of a mirror shine, the gold has an even satin tone that reads soft and warm, plays down fingerprints and fine surface marks, and gives the sculpture a modern museum-object feel. At 7 cm the drop is a deliberate statement length, long enough to sit below the jaw yet built hollow so the weight stays comfortable through a full day.
Both spirals are cast in solid 18K yellow gold as hollow three-dimensional volumes, which is what lets a 7 cm sculptural drop stay light enough to wear at around 23 g for the pair. After casting, the coils are cleaned up by hand so every ridge stays defined, the dome and drop are joined by an articulating loop assembled and soldered at the bench, and the omega backs are fitted and tensioned by hand to hold a heavier drop securely. The satin finish is worked across both forms last, so the matte tone stays even from the top coil to the base.
This pair of spiral drop earrings is built to order. The configuration shown is a starting point, not a fixed SKU. The following options can be specified before production starts.
