Each baguette diamond in this cross is individually prong-set rather than channel or bezel mounted. Individual prong setting keeps each stone slightly raised, which allows light to enter from below the girdle and exit through the table in broad, flat reflections characteristic of step-cut diamonds. The cross arms are built from stones arranged in a line along the vertical and horizontal axes, with the center intersection occupied by the largest stone. The proportions of each stone are matched so the arms read as continuous rather than segmented.

The bail connecting the pendant to the chain is a small, integrated loop that keeps the cross centered and hanging level. The chain is a fine link style with a lobster clasp closure, proportioned to keep visual weight on the pendant rather than the chain itself. The overall pendant weight is approximately 5 grams in 18K gold, which sits comfortably against the chest without pulling.

The cross body and chain are produced in 18K solid gold (Au750), not plated or filled. White gold variants are rhodium-plated at our manufacturing facility before shipping to achieve the bright, neutral finish visible in the product image. Two diamond options are available for this design. Natural diamonds are graded at VS clarity and E color, sourced and confirmed at the production stage before casting begins. Lab grown diamonds of equivalent grade are available as an alternative, with IGI certification covering cut, color, clarity, and carat weight for both options.

Baguette-cut stones require precise calibration during setting because their rectangular profile leaves less tolerance for seat adjustment than round stones. Our production team sets each stone under magnification, confirms seat depth and prong angle per stone, and verifies that the cross arms remain visually level across the finished piece.

What Can Be Adjusted

This pendant is made to order at our manufacturing facility. The options below are the most common adjustments requested before production begins. If your requirement falls outside these, describe it in the inquiry form and the production team will confirm whether it can be accommodated.

• ◆ Stone type: Natural diamonds (VS/E) or lab grown diamonds of equivalent grade. Natural diamonds carry GIA or IGI grading reports. Lab diamonds come with IGI certification. Both options are available at the same setting and design standard.
• ◆ Gold color: White, yellow, or rose gold are all available. White gold is rhodium-plated before shipping. Yellow gold gives the baguette stones a warmer surround. Rose gold produces a softer contrast with the white diamonds.
• ◆ Gold karat: 14K is available as an alternative to 18K. 14K is slightly harder and holds rhodium plating longer on white gold variants. 18K carries more gold content and is the default for this design.
• ◆ Chain length: Standard range is 38 to 48cm. Lengths outside this range can be confirmed with the production team on inquiry. Chain style is a fine link; alternative chain types may be available on request.
• ◆ Total carat weight: The 3ct total is set across the standard configuration. Scaling stone size up or down changes the pendant proportions. Confirm target carat weight and any size preference when sending your inquiry.
