Tapered Arms and a Star-Point Center

The cross is drawn long and narrow, with each of the four arms tapering from the center out to a fine point. Where the arms meet, a small squared cluster of diamonds sits slightly raised and catches light like a compass point, which is what gives the north-star read. The proportions are kept deliberately delicate rather than heavy or ornate.

At about 19.6 mm the pendant is petite, made to sit just below the collarbone on the 18 inch chain, as shown on the model. The slim 1.15 mm cable chain keeps all the attention on the cross, and a standard clasp closure makes it easy to put on and take off on your own. It layers well and reads as an everyday piece rather than an occasion-only one.

Solid 18K White Gold and Hand-Set Natural Diamonds

The cross is made in solid 18K white gold and set with 16 natural round diamonds, hand-selected for bright, even sparkle across a piece this small. Setting is the real work here: each arm is only a couple of millimetres wide, so every seat is cut individually so the tiny stones sit level and the arm still finishes in a clean point. The raised center stones are set in a squared collet that lifts them slightly above the arms, which is what forms the star point at the middle of the cross.
