This is a solid 18K white gold emerald cut lab grown diamond engagement ring built around a 20.06 carat center stone measuring 18.16 by 12.73 by 8.29 mm. The center diamond grades D color and VVS2 clarity. It is compass set on four double claw prongs, with a further 65 round accent diamonds, 0.97 carat in total, along the basket rail and the shank.
At 18.16 mm end to end, the center stone spans most of the finger between the knuckles, so this reads as a statement proposal ring rather than an everyday solitaire. Within our engagement rings collection it sits at the top of the carat range, for a buyer who wants that scale without stepping outside a certified single stone design.

A compass setting places the prongs at the four compass points, north, south, east and west, at the middle of each side rather than on the diagonal corners. On an emerald cut that is a structural decision, not a styling one. The corners of a step cut are its thinnest and most exposed facets, and a conventional corner claw mounting puts metal directly on them: protective, but it also covers the corner and breaks the outline face-up. Compass set claws leave all four corners clear, so the stone reads as a complete rectangle from above.
Each of the four claws is doubled, splitting into two narrower fingers where it meets the crown. At 20.06 carats the diamond carries roughly four grams of mass sitting high above the finger, and it behaves like a lever, so every knock is multiplied by the height of the setting before it reaches the metal. Two narrow contact points spread that load across more surface than one wide claw, and take less of the stone’s face while doing it.
A continuous rail of pave diamonds follows the outline of the basket just below the girdle, so the profile view shows a bright line under the stone instead of a plain metal wall. The shank measures 2.2 mm across and 1.7 mm through, kept deliberately narrow so the proportion stays with the center stone. Inside the band, the Au 750 hallmark confirms solid 18K gold rather than plated or filled metal.
Full rotation on video. The claws stay at the middle of each side, so the four corners of the step cut are never covered.
The ring is made in solid 18K white gold with a finished weight of 4.13 grams. In its raw alloy state 18K white gold is a pale warm color rather than bright white, which is why the head looks faintly yellow on the bench; the finished ring is rhodium plated to reach the white surface you see in the photographs. Both the center stone and the accents are lab grown diamonds. The 20.06 carat center is certified by IGI under report LG754505553: D color, VVS2 clarity, Excellent polish, Excellent symmetry, no fluorescence, grown by chemical vapor deposition and recorded as Type IIa. Accent diamonds at this size are not issued individual IGI reports, so they are covered by a diamond inspection certificate supplied with the finished ring.
